Occupying the country’s north western corner, the lush green Minho region takes its name from the river that has always marked Portugal´s northern frontier. Come and experience a leisurely private tour through this flourishing region and indulge in a traditional lunch in the picturesque town, one of the oldest Roman settlements in Portugal, Ponte de Lima. You will witness the Roman influence in its beautiful arched bridge that spans the Lima River.
Continuing to Moncão, you will visit a magnificent XVII century palace, the home of one of the most prestigious noble families in Portugal, for a guided tour and wine tasting of the famous Alvarinho wine at this award winning wine estate.
Next, drive to Valenca do Minho, a charming town that invites you to visit its streets filled with pottery, linen & crockery and to appreciate the amazing views. Spend some time enjoying this walled city before returning to Porto.

*Note: If travelling on a cruise ship which does not dock for some reason, a full refund will be made.
