Especially designed for cruise ship guests, meeting their strict time restraints, this tour allows you to experience the best of Guimarães and Porto.
Depart the pier by private van to Guimarães, known as the "Cradle of Portugal" and in 2012 - the European Capital of Culture. Here, you will visit the Palace of the Dukes and see a spectacular collection of Renaissance pieces and Baroque furniture, Chinese and Indo-Portuguese porcelain, Flemish tapestries and Persian rugs. Nearby, sits the 10th century Guimarães Castle, the birthplace of Afonso Henriques, the first king of Portugal.
Return to Porto visiting the UNESCO Historic Centre, Sé Cathedral, Clérigos Church and Tower, Lello Bookshop, São Bento Train Station, Stock Exchange Palace, Ribeira Square before crossing the Douro River to finish in a famous port wine cellar for an informative tour and tasting to experience the variety of ports.
A private van will meet and return guests to the port.

- More than 14 days prior to the tour: 80% refund.
- 14 to 7 days prior to the tour: 20% refund.
- Less than 7 days: No refund*.
*Note: If travelling on a cruise ship which does not dock for some reason, a full refund will be made.
