Douro Valley Wine Tasting, River Cruise & Mateus Palace Tour
Depart from your hotel or preferred location en route to the breathtaking Douro Valley. Your first stop will be at the splendid Mateus Palace which is depicted on the labels of the famous Mateus rosé wine. Tour the ornate manor house and its beautiful gardens.
Making your way another wine estate, a renowned winery set amongst the terraces of the valley where you will delight yourself with a traditional lunch consisting of specialties of the estate along with a tour and tasting of their highly regarded wines.
After lunch you will embark on a traditional rabelo boat which was used to transport the port wine to the wine cellars in Porto. Experience the historical Douro River and more spectacular scenery on this one hour boat trip.
Once you disembark, we will continue this wine tour to another award winning winery for a comprehensive tour and tasting.
Relax while returning from the majestic Douro Valley to Porto by private van.

Continue to Quinta do Portal, a renowned winery where you will be treated to a traditional lunch consisting of specialties of the estate along with a private cellar tour and tasting of their highly regarded wines.
After lunch you will embark on a traditional boat to cruise the historical Douro River and enjoy more spectacular scenery (2 hour boat trip). Once you disembark, we will continue to the famous Sandeman winery, Quinta do Seixo, for a comprehensive tour and tasting.
Your tour concludes upon return to Porto.
