Horse Dressage Exhibition Tour
On this tour you will have the opportunity to watch one of the oldest arts in Portugal performed in a traditional Portuguese Quinta by a professional dressage trainer and breeder of the world famous Portuguese horse breeds, Lusitanos. Quinta Oliveira Stud Farm is located in the historical village of St. Pedro de Rates in the region of Entre-Douro and Minho (Póvoa de Varzim in Northern Portugal).
Together with many agricultural activities, the stud farm is devoted to breeding purebred Lusitano horses aiming to produce quality Lusitanos with exceptional paces, a generous and docile temperament and great ability for dressage, bullfighting and pleasure.
After the exhibition you will be having the oportunity to take a lesson or go for a horse back ridding in the fields.Enjoy a traditional Portuguese tapas lunch accompanied by the famous regional wine,” Vinho Verde”. On your way back to your hotel or ship we will drive through two typical seaside fishing villages, Povoa de Varzim and Vila do Conde to get a feeling of the culture and history there. Your tour concludes upon return to Porto.

- 14 to 7 days prior to the tour: 20% refund.
- Less than 7 days: No refund*.
*Note: If travelling on a cruise ship which does not dock for some reason, a full refund will be made.
