Geres National Park Hiking Tour
Welcome to Portugal´s breathtaking and scenic National Park, Peneda do Gerês, located in the in the northwest of Portugal. During this tour you will view amazing scenery in the 300-million-year-old granite heights with waterfalls, lagoons, forests, and endless viewpoints and explore its history including 3rd century megalithic tombs and dolmens, roman roads and bridges and mountain villages and rural monuments. Let’s get out of the city and spend a day in nature’s wonderland! Upon arrival to the park we will meet a certified National Park guide that is going to give you an interpretive walking/driving tour of the park pointing out the unique landscape and features of this region. During our hike we will stop for lunch in a typical restaurant.
This tour is geread for anyone who would like to enjoy and visit the National Park and its beautiful setting, through a relaxing and energetic hike/walk and drive.
You will have some free-time for shopping and visit in more detail the Gerês Village.

Depart Porto to Peneda Geres National Park where we will meet a certified national guide to take us on a scenic and informative hike throughout the park. We will stop along the way for a traditional lunch at a local mountain restaurant and have some free time to exlpore the Geres village.
Tour departs from your hotel or any location requested by guest in Porto.

- 14 to 7 days prior to the tour: 20% refund.
- Less than 7 days: No refund*.
*Note: If travelling on a cruise ship which does not dock for some reason, a full refund will be made.
