Oporto City (UNESCO) & Tile Painting Tour
Voted "Best European Destination 2012", come and discover this hidden gem of a city! This tour allows you to experience the best of Porto and to take part in a traditional Portuguese tile workshop (azulejos), learning about the history of Portuguese tiles and how they are made. At the end of this event you will have the opportunity to paint your own tile. Guests will be driven through the the Historical Centre, past the Sé Cathedral, Clérigos Church and Tower, Lello Bookshop, São Bento Train Station and Stock Exchange Palace. Stop at the tile gallery for the workshop and a pastry before continuing to the Ribeira Square crossing the Douro River on the Dom Luis Bridge passing the famous port wine cellars where you will have the best view of the city. This tour concludes with a scenic drive through the trendy Foz waterfront district.

A private van will pick you up at the port, your hotel or specified location to visit UNESCO Historic Centre, Sé Cathedral, Clérigos Church and Tower, Lello Bookshop, São Bento Train Station and Stock Exchange Palace. Stop at a tile (azulejos) gallery for a unique experience of a Portuguese tile painting workshop and history. Continue to the Ribeira Square, crossing the Douro River, passing the port wine cellars and viewing the city from another perspective before returning to the port, hotel or other location.

*Note: If travelling on a cruise ship which does not dock for some reason, a full refund will be made.
