We will take you away from the tourist spots for you to experience the gastronomy like the locals, the best that Porto has to offer in hidden foodie gems that boost some of the most mouth-watering and hearty food in the city! You will learn about the history of Portuguese cuisine walking around the city, through some of Porto's most important streets and little alleys and visiting the amazing monuments that contribute to this UNESCO historical centre. These include the 12th Century Sé Cathedral, one of the most important Romanesque monuments in Portugal, Clérigos Church & Tower by Nicolau Nasoni, Lello Bookshop, classified as the third most beautiful bookstore in the world, São Bento Train Station with its traditional tiles (azulejos), Ribeira Square and Dom Luis Bridge all while sampling more than 12 luscious food selections (tapas), wine & beer. These will be prepared and served especially for you in six typical specialty restaurants, taverns, cafés and bars. A food lover's dream!
