Oporto City (UNESCO) & Wine Tasting Tour
This driving tour begins with a breathtaking drive along the ocean, passing the Cheese Castle (Castelo de Queijo), the trendy Foz district, the Arrábida Bridge (Ponte da Arrábida) arriving to the centre where you will visit the Historic Centre, Sé Cathedral, Bolhão Market, Santa Catarina shopping street, Clérigos Church and Tower, Lello Bookshop, São Bento Train Station, Stock Exchange Palace finishing at the riverside Ribeira Square where you will enjoy a traditional Portuguese lunch in one of the most beautiful parts of the city.
After lunch, you will traverse the symbolic Douro River on the Eiffel inspired Dom Luis Bridge to Vila Nova de Gaia, where you will visit a famous port wine cellar for a tour and tasting, learning all about the production, harvesting and transporting of this unique drink. You will have time to purchase some bottles if desired.
Head back to the ship (or preferred location) via Boavista Avenue, one of the longest avenues in Portugal, where you will view the award winning "Casa da Música" (House of Music - Concert Hall) and witness some remarkable stately homes lining this picturesque avenue.

*Note: If travelling on a cruise ship which does not dock for some reason, a full refund will be made.
